Overview
Statistically, kids play less than they used to, with 70% of Gen Alpha dropping out of sports by age 15 due to the pressures of being an “athlete.” Sports Lab redefines play, inspiring kids to move, experiment, and create their own rules in a new world of sport—pushing the potential of play while teaching them the valuable life lessons that traditional sports instill, both on and off the field.
We built this show from the ground up, shaping every detail—from overall show direction and episode themes to segment games, character creation and development, and set and costume design. The set was inspired by Nike’s real Research Lab at their headquarters but designed to look like how a kid might imagine their own version.
